Outlining a clear and citizen-focused roadmap for Mohammadwadi–Undri’s Ward 41, social leader Swati Ananta Takale has presented her development vision in the form of a structured 10-point agenda. Centred on sustainability, inclusivity, and long-term planning, her vision aims to transform the ward into a future-ready, safe, and well-managed urban neighbourhood.

Takale stated that development must go beyond short-term fixes and focus on building strong systems that can serve residents for decades. “My vision is to create a ward that anticipates future needs, strengthens core infrastructure, and keeps citizens at the heart of every decision,” she said.

Swati Ananta Takale’s 10-Point Vision Agenda for Ward 41:

Smart, Pothole-Free Roads:
Design of well-developed, durable, and smart roads to ensure smoother traffic flow and reduce congestion.

Efficient Drainage and Sewage Systems:
Upgradation of drainage and sewage networks to prevent waterlogging, overflow, and flooding, especially during the monsoon.

Sustainable Water Supply Management:
Long-term planning for equitable, reliable, and adequate water supply to meet the ward’s growing population needs.

Clean and Disciplined Waste Management:
Strengthening garbage collection systems and promoting cleanliness to maintain hygienic and healthy surroundings.

Green and Open Public Spaces:
Creation and maintenance of green zones, gardens, and recreational spaces for families, children, and senior citizens.

Improved Safety and Security:
Installation of better street lighting and expanded CCTV coverage to ensure a safer environment for women, children, and elderly residents.

Stronger Public Transport and Connectivity:
Improved access to public transport along with better last-mile connectivity to ease daily commuting.

Women’s Empowerment Initiatives:
Promotion of skill-based programmes and self-reliance initiatives to enhance economic opportunities for women.

Youth, Student, and Senior Citizen Support:
Skill development and employment-oriented opportunities for youth, educational support for students, and dignified facilities for senior citizens.

On-Ground, Citizen-Centric Governance:
Regular on-field presence, direct communication with residents, quick decision-making, and permanent solutions through transparent governance.

Reiterating her leadership philosophy, Takale said a public representative must remain accessible and actively engaged with citizens rather than functioning only from an office.

With this 10-point agenda, Swati Ananta Takale aims to make Mohammadwadi–Undri’s Ward 41 clean, secure, organised, modern, and truly citizen-friendly, ensuring balanced development and an improved quality of life for every resident.
