Clean up drive held in Wanowrie
A mega clean up drive was held in Wanowrie. It was started by Swachh Pune Swachh Bharat in collaboration with Adar Poonawala Clean City Initiative and WORK for Compassion. Almost one third part of the open spot was cleaned. Over two truck loads of plastic and glass bottles waste were removed from the site.
Wg Cdr Puneet Sharma founder of SPSB informed about continued effort in coming weeks to cleanup adjacent stretch of land near Sanvidhan Chowk. He urged participation by volunteers from societies located in Wanawadi Kondhwa area to join in to achieve this mammoth task. The teams are meeting again on Sunday dated 26 December 2021 at 0730 hrs in the morning.
