P-TAL, a startup specializing in brass, copper, and kansa products, made waves on the third season of Shark Tank India by securing a deal from all five investors on the panel. However, the company is now making headlines for its unique gesture of gratitude – returning cheques to its Shark Tank investors.

When P-TAL appeared on Shark Tank India Season 3, it secured a deal of Rs 20 lakh each from Sharks Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Amit Jain, Namita Thapar, and Vineeta Singh, offering 0.64% equity in return.

In a recent Instagram post, P-TAL announced that its artisans are returning cheques to each of the five Sharks, but not with money. Instead, the cheques are symbolic, representing love and blessings. The company’s artisans were overwhelmed with gratitude upon hearing about the successful deal and wanted to express their appreciation in a meaningful way.

Accompanying the post is a video showing the artisans thanking the Sharks for their trust. In addition to the cheques, each Shark will also receive a specially handcrafted P-TAL product, demonstrating the company’s commitment to Indian traditions in a contemporary context.

Led by CEO Aditya Agarwal, P-TAL aims to revive old Indian traditions through its metal kitchenware offerings. The startup’s gesture reflects its values of gratitude, respect, and appreciation for the support received from the Shark Tank investors.

This heartfelt gesture from P-TAL serves as a reminder of the importance of gratitude and appreciation in business relationships, showcasing the human side of entrepreneurship in the competitive world of startups.
