Cloud 9 road : MSEDCL cable hanging on newly developed NIBM road poses threat to motorists

The residents of NIBM road are rejoicing over the opening of newly developed (reconstructed) Cloud 9 roar as Pune Municipal Corporation is undertaking the work of reducing the gradient.

The civic body is reducing the height of the road by 6 meters approximately which will provide a great relief to motorists. But since the road is going on lot of cables have been let open around the area which need to be laid underground or tackled carefully.

The road was inaugurated yesterday evening for public to use.

One such overhead cable is now posing threat to the bikers mainly. Residents of the area complained that PMC and MSEDCL must look into the matter and get the wire removed or lay it underground.

Netizens have taken to the social media platforms to raise the issue with MSEDCL and seek prompt action.

The local area corporator Nanda Lonkar when asked about the wire shared that continuous follow up with the MSEDCL is pursued to get the cable wire removed ensuring safety of the residents.
