Construction work poses threat to motorists
The construction road work being carried out near Kumar Palmspring in Undri is causing severe risk to motorists. There are several schools around the area and the construction work is causing traffic congestion due to construction material carrying vehicles are often parked on the road.
A resident of Undri complained that the work is adding to congestion on the road. There are RMC (ready mix concrete) trucks which are often parked on the main road. It is specially congested during the school closing period.
The builder must deploy extra manpower to control the traffic when the trucks download their material.
When Pune Pulse spoke to Amit Shete, Junior Engineer, Road department, PMC said that the spot shall be surveyed to find out the exact work.
