Veer Baal Diwas to be held on December 18 in Wanowrie

Government of India has declared 26 December as ‘Veer Baal Diwas’ to pay tribute to sons of 10th Sikh guru Gobind Singh who were executed by the Mughals at a minor age of 6 and 9 years.

The martyrdom of the “Sahibzaade” (Sons) is an important and integral part of the Indian history, and the occasion of their martyrdom is remembered, and commemorated both with great vigour and very acute sadness, every year in the month of December.

On Sunday 18 December 2022, Sanskrit Lahari Sanstha, Wanawadi has organized a observance program in remembrance of the exemplary courage and conviction of the Char Sahibzade.
