Pune: Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced that a grant of ₹ 50,000 has been allocated by the Government of Maharashtra for patients who succumbed due to COVID-19 . 

The corporation is currently screening the applications received through the online system and has identified that 498 applications have been disqualified due to various technical faults. 

These applications are pending at the total 5 circle level offices of Pune and the applicants are requested to visit the website www.mahacovid19relief.in to complete the documentation process of their applications.

Applicants need to log in to the website with their mobile number and complete the required documents mentioned in the application status within the next 10 days. This will enable the corporation to process the applications further. The announcement was made by Vikram Kumar, Municipal Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation.

The Government of Maharashtra’s grant is expected to provide much-needed relief to those affected by the pandemic in the Pune area. The corporation has urged the applicants to comply with the necessary documentation and requirements to ensure that their applications are processed and the grant is distributed in a timely manner.
