Cyclists pedal from Alandi to Pandharpur to spread message environment conservation

Cyclists from Parbhani, Dr Pavan Chandak and Rajeshwar Wasalwar and Nitin Shewalkar kicked off their cycle drive from Alandi to Pandharpur and back to Parbhani to spread awareness on environment conservation recently.

Pedal for She – an initiative to donate free sanitary napkins has been initiated by Dr Chandak wherein he donates sanitary napkins free of cost to teenage girls. Dr Chandak has till date completed 72000 kms of cycling. He has been providing necessary things to People affected due to HIV AIDS.

He began his cycle rally on July 11 from Pune station, where he will interact with Anandvan Mitra Mandal and take blessings from Alandi Shikhar darshan of Mauli Samadhi mandir via Hadapsar and Solapur highway ride till Pandharpur.

Cyclists from Parbhani in association with HARC are cycling for AIDS Awareness & environmental conservation who reached Pune and shall begin for their cycle ride from Alandi to Pandharpur.

Cyclists team includes Dr.Pavan Chandak, Rajeshwar Wasalvar, Nitin Shevalkar started their journey from Alandi towards Pandharpur. It’s a Cycle rally like vari to spread awareness about Aids & environment.

They are riding on day-1 between Pune to Bhigwan and day -2 Bhigwan to Pandharpur. They will return thereafter by public transport back to Parbhani.

They were welcomed in Pune by Satej Nazare, Pune Cycling Awareness, Sachin Ghogre, Pragati Nazare, H B P Swamiraj Bhise and Tushar Zarekar.
