Today marks the final opportunity for candidates to raise objections to the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 Paper 1. The objection window, provided on jeemain.nta.ac.in, will close at 11 am. Those wishing to challenge the provisional answer key must act swiftly.

To challenge the answers given in the JEE Main exam, candidates need to register their objections via a link on the official website. However, each objection requires a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question.

The answer key for JEE Main session 2 BE/BTech (paper 1) was made public on April 12, along with the questions and candidates’ recorded responses. However, the release of the answer key for paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) is still pending.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) stated, “If the challenge(s) made by the candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Keys, the result will be prepared and declared.” The NTA further clarified that individual candidates will not receive notifications regarding the acceptance or rejection of their challenges.

According to the information bulletin, the results of JEE Main Session 2 are expected to be announced on April 25. Following the assessment of candidates’ feedback, the NTA will finalize the answer key and utilize it to determine the results.

In addition to the session 2 results, the agency will also publish the all-India rank list. For candidates who have taken both sessions of the JEE Main, the better score among the two will be considered for the rank list.
