Development work in Undri to speed up ; Shrinath Bhimale

A joint meeting between residents of Undri and ex MLA Hadapsar Constituency and a senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader, Yogesh Tilekar, Shrinath Bhimale, Rajendra Bhintade, former member of Undri Gram Panchayat Jayshree Punekar, Gauri Phulaware and many others was held at the Bhairavnath Temple in Undri recently. Bhimale, Corporator and ex leader of the house, Pune Municipal Corporation in the meeting that Rs One crore from his budget would be utilised for development work in Undri.

The programme also had felicitation of residents who did a commendable job during the lockdown. Several residents of Undri were felicitated for their noble work. Students of Class X and XII were also felicitated, sports personalities, PMC staff, retired Police officials, autorickshaw drivers were given CNG kits coupons and needy people were given ration kits.
The programme saw presence of Yog Guru Deepak Shilimkar, Dada Kad, Akshay Takle, Jayashree Punekar, BJP Doctors Cell vice president Dr Tejaswini Arvind, Prakash Hole, Kailas Punekar, Anil Hole, Dattoba Hole and others.

Ex MLA Yogesh Tilekar said, “Undri village despite being in the Pune Municipal Corporation limits has not seen any development work. The ruling party in the state, could not implement any development work in Undri despite availability of funds. BJP assures that several development projects shall be introduced in the area. “

Shrinath Bhimale while addressing the residents announced fund of Rs 1 crore to carry out development work in Undri. As coordinator for Undri village from Bharatiya Janata Party I assure to bring projects that will develop Undri and make it a smart posh suburb of Pune.

Rajendra Bhintade during the programme said, “Undri lacks development projects and many civic amenities. Despite having premium housing projects in the area, basic amenities such as water supply, drainage facilites, crematoriums, sportsground, gardens, auditoriums are lacking in this area. We shall all strive to bring these facilities in Undri and make it a smart suburb.”
