A Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) city bus on Route No. 233/7, driven by Arbaz Rashid Shaikh and operated by Nitin Jadhav, was involved in a multi-vehicle accident at the Chandni Chowk ramp near lohia jain building.

The incident occurred around 11 AM when the bus, registered as CNG 948, experienced a mechanical failure and collided with a nearby car, triggering a chain reaction involving three to four other vehicles. Three four wheelers and two wheelers have been damaged in the accident.

Among those affected was Motiram Gaikwad, a 30-year-old motorcyclist from Bhugaon, who suffered injuries to his waist was taken to Mai Mangeshkar Hospital and later transferred to Sassoon Hospital for further treatment.

Authorities from the Shastrinagar police chowky are investigating the crash. Further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
