PMC allows shops and malls to open from August 9

Pune Municipal Corporation on August 8, 2021 issued fresh guidelines further relaxing the restrictions in the corporation limits. Vikram Kumar, Commissioner, Pune Municipal Corporation issued the new guidelines providing relief to several businesses. 

All shops to remain open all days till 8 PM 

Shopping : All malls in PMC limits to remain open on all days till 8 PM. Staff working in the mall to be vaccinated or should conduct RTPCR test every 15 days,  Also, consumers who have taken both the doses to be allowed in the malls to enter. 

Restaurants : Restaurants, bar, food court shall remain open till 10 PM on all days and shall operate with 50 percent capacity only. Parcel service / delivery of food shall be allowed till 11 PM. 

Gardens : All PMC run gardens in the city shall remain open on all days between 6 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 7 pm. 

Sports – All activities which allow close contact such as Swimming shall remain closed. 

Education : All schools, primary, higher secondary, colleges, educational institutes, shall remain closed till further notice. Online Classes can be continued.
Coaching classes / Competitive examination centers, can remain open till 8 PM on all days with 50 percent capacity. Trainers and Trainees should be vaccinated (minimum first dose is mandatory).

Gyms : Gyms, spa, beauty parlour, wellness centers, saloons are allowed to remain open with 50 percent capacity. Prior appointments should be taken. 

These guidelines are applicable also in Kirkee Cantonment Board and Pune Cantonment Board. These guidelines shall be in force from August 9, 2021. The other guidelines remain the same as on July 26, 2021.
