Dindi Procession Organized by SNBP School and Junior College Draws Enthusiastic Participation
Pimpri-Chinchwad, July 5 – In a vibrant display of cultural devotion and unity, SNBP School and Junior College organized a grand Dindi procession on July 5, 2025. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of approximately 1000 students and teachers, who marched from the school campus to Godambe Chowk, proceeded towards Kokane Chowk, and then returned to the campus.
Dr. Sonal Srivastava, Principal of SNBP School and Junior College, Rahatani said that, “The Dindi procession highlighted the school’s commitment to promoting cultural values and active community participation among its students.”
Dressed in traditional attire, students brought the spirit of the Wari tradition alive with their energetic Lezim performances, filling the streets with rhythm, color, and devotion. The procession not only celebrated the cultural heritage of Maharashtra but also instilled a sense of unity and discipline among the participants.

To ensure the safety and smooth movement of the children, teachers accompanied the procession and formed a human chain, guiding and protecting the students throughout the route. Their presence provided a reassuring environment, allowing the young participants to enjoy the experience with confidence and joy.

The event concluded successfully back at the campus with a sense of pride and accomplishment felt by all involved.
