Disturbing: Man Murders Wife in Khadakwasla; Commits Suicide by Hanging on Tree

A husband killed his wife by hitting a stone on her head. After that, the husband committed suicide by hanging himself on a tree. This terrifying incident happened on Sunday (25^th February) evening in the Peacock Bay area behind NDA.

The deceased have been identified as Somnath Sakharam Vagh and his wife Suvarna Somnath Vagh. A case of murder of his wife has been registered against Somnath Wagh in this case. A police officer informed that the cause of this incident is yet to be known. 

The husband and wife left the house on Sunday morning at 9:30 am to go for a walk. They came to the Peacock Bay area behind NDA via Uttam Nagar. A sudden argument between the couple took place, which resulted in the incident, where the husband killed his wife by throwing a stone on her head. The husband then hanged himself on a tree. As, even after eleven o’clock in the morning, they did not return home, their daughter and nephew searched for them.

In the evening, the husband’s bike was spotted in the Peacock Bay area. The dead body of the wife was found when the area was searched. It was seen that the husband hanged himself on the tree.
