Door-to-door parcel service from railways and postal department soon
Pune : There is no need to go railway station if you want to send or receive a parcel. Very soon, the parcel service is to become a door-to-door. This decision has been taken jointly by the railway administration and the postal administration. Home deliver service will be started in Pune also.
This service will be provided by railway between two cities and after that the parcel will be delivered to your home by post. The name of this scheme is ‘Gatishakti Cargo Seva‘ and this service will be started from Pune station in 2023.
