The much-awaited Draksha Mahotsav 2024 (Grape Festival) is scheduled to take place on Sunday, the 24th of March, at Shrimant Dagdusheth Ganapati in Pune.

According to further information from Shrimant Dagdusheth Ganapati, ‘On the occasion of Holi Pournima, 2000 kg of grapes will be offered to Ganapati Bappa by Sahyadri Farms at Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple. All devotees are appealed to take advantage of the darshan!’

Draksha Mahotsav, the Grape Festival, is a unique and culturally rich event organized on Sankashti Chaturthi, sponsored by Sahyadri Farms. The temple is decorated with 2000 kgs of black and green grapes, creating a picturesque view for the devotees. These grapes are later distributed at Sassoon Hospital, Pitashree Old Age Home, and among devotees who come to seek Bappa’s blessings.

Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust is celebrating the Grape Festival at Ganpati Temple on the occasion of Sankashti Chaturthi. 2,000 kg of exportable grapes grown by the farmers of Sahyadri Farmers Producer Company in Nashik have been arranged. These grapes will later be given as prasad to devotees, orphanages, and old age homes. For the first time in the grape season, this kind of arrangement is being done in the temple.

These grapes can be eaten without washing and are completely natural and chemical-free. Later, they will be distributed to patients, the needy, and devotees of Sassoon Hospital.

This grape festival has become so popular that over the years, a lot of devotees throng from early morning to see this attractive aaras placed in the assembly hall in the heart of the Dagdusheth Ganapati temple.”
