DSK Garden Enclave installs wet garbage processing unit
DSK Garden Enclave society in Kondhwa recently installed a wet garbage processing unit which will help them process over 100 kgs wet waste generated from the members. The project was inaugurated at the hands of former corporator Nanda Lonkar and other residents of the society.
The wet waste gets spread over nine pits in nine days with chemicals and other materials provided. After 4-5 months The society can harvest the finished product which can be used as a fertiliser.
There are about 110 flats in the society who are aiming to reduce their wet waste burden and compost it inhouse.
