In light of this predicament, endeavors are underway to introduce an air taxi service in the near future, aiming to alleviate traffic congestion and enable swift transportation within a matter of minutes. The consideration of an air taxi service between Delhi and Gurugram is in response to the traffic problem.

According to reports, the service is scheduled to commence in 2026. Let us explore the concept of an e-air taxi and its notable features. An e-air taxi is a type of taxi that operates by flying from one location to another. Notably, this taxi produces no pollution as it is fully electric and powered by a battery. Scheduled for a pilot project in 2026, these flying taxis will have a capacity to transport up to four passengers simultaneously. It is expected that the maximum speed of these taxis will range from 140 to 160 kilometers per hour.

IntGlobe Enterprises, a renowned company, is set to introduce e-air taxi services in the country. The company has recently entered into a partnership with Archer Avishon, a well-known electric air taxi manufacturer based in California. As part of the agreement, IntGlobe Enterprises will acquire 200 electric vertical take-off and landing vehicles, paving the way for the commencement of air taxi services across the nation. The initial phase of the project aims to introduce the inaugural e-air taxi service in two prominent cities, namely Delhi and Gurugram. This cutting-edge mode of transportation will enable passengers to travel from Delhi’s Connaught Place to Gurugram in a remarkably short span of time, ranging from 60 to 90 minutes. The launch of this pioneering e-air taxi service is scheduled for the year 2026 as part of the pilot project.
