Eateries near Ganga Florentina disturbs peace of local residents
The residents of Ganga Florentina society are disturbed with the constant nuisance from the eateries which remain open till wee hours of morning. The youngsters often gather at these eateries and sit till early morning causing major disturbance to the local citizens around.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, a nearby society resident said, “Our society is facing a big nuisance from the shops opposite to us since they keep them open upto 4-5a.m with loud music playing which causes serious disturbance to all residents.”
He further said that seeking help from local police has not yielded major change in the area. We are seeking some permanent solution to the problem. The residents whose flats are facing the roadside towards the eateries are having sleepless nights.
Another resident whose flat is facing these eateries said, “I have been living in this area for the last 8 years. It was never so chaotic. These eateries are visited by youngsters who eat, drink and play loud music. These youngsters sit in the car and drink by putting up loud music. This mess starts around 6 PM and ends till 4 AM. We have informed police in the past but as soon as they are back from round these eateries pull up their shutters and restart their services. We don’t feel safe anymore.”

A working professional resident of Ganga Florentina said that the sound of games is heard even at 15th floor. The music is that loud. We also suspect that the shops are owned by politicians and hence there is no stern action. The eateries opposite to us are causing more nuisance. “We want a permanent solution to the problem from Police and PMC,” he added.
When Pune Pulse raised the issue with Kondhwa police station senior police inspector Sardar Patil, he said, “Stern action shall be taken against those violating the laws.”
