ED raids Bharatkshetra saree shop in Dadar

Pune: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted raids at five different locations in Mumbai. One of the places raided by the ED is a renowned saree shop situated in Dadar. Initial findings suggest that illicit financial transactions were being carried out behind this saree shop.

As per the information received, this appears to be an evident instance of fraud amounting to Rs 133 crore. This situation arises from disparities in the company’s ownership of shares. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is currently carrying out searches at five sites in Mumbai, which include the Bharatkshetra shop.

As per the information provided, the Bharatkshetra shop in Dadar was subjected to a raid by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday. The ED officials have been present at the shop for the past five hours, actively conducting the operation. According to sources, the raid was initiated in connection with a financial fraud case. The ED officials are currently visiting the shop and meticulously examining the relevant documents.

As per the information received, Bharatkshetra, renowned for its saree business, has established a prominent presence over the years. With multiple branches across various locations, the shop has catered to a wide customer base. Recently, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at five different sites in Mumbai. The ED initiated these actions based on an FIR registered at Bhoiwada police station in 2019, leading to the filing of an ECIR.
