‘Education, Industry sectors need to collaborate’, inform experts in Pune 

PIC’s Social Innovation Lab organises round table on ‘CSR in Education Sector’

PUNE: Key stakeholders in the education sector should collaborate with those in the corporate sector, with social entrepreneurs, and with other stakeholders for the betterment of education.

This was the outcome of discussions at the round table on ‘Corporate Social Responsibility in Education Sector’, organised by PIC’s research vertical Social Innovation Lab, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

CSR heads from Volkswagen, KPIT, Persistent, Thermax, and many other companies, along with social entrepreneurs and special invitees, participated in the roundtable.

The conference agenda was to understand the initiatives of the CSR companies and foster collaboration through learning and sharing. It also sought to understand some of the challenges that need to be addressed, including the pressing issue of funding.

The roundtable was moderated by Mr. Dinanath Kholkar, Independent Advisor, former SVP, TCS.
