A family already mourning the loss of a 33-year-old Army Major faced another tragedy when 26-year-old Adarsh Negi was killed in a terrorist attack on a military convoy in Jammu and Kashmir. Adarsh was a Rifleman in the Indian Army.
Adarsh’s paternal uncle, Balwant Negi cried “ Two months ago, we lost my son, a Major. Now, five soldiers from our region, including Adarsh, have been killed in a convoy attack.” Balwant’s son, Pranay Negi died on April 30 while serving in Leh.

The entire country is emotionally unstable and this affects the security of the country too. Such incidents underscore the ongoing threats faced by the Army Jawans and highlight the sacrifices made by soldiers for their country. Adarsh’s father said that he spoke to him last Sunday. He was having food. He had come to visit for a wedding and left in March to serve his country.
