On 27 th February midnight, a massive fire broke out at a godown in Jyotiba Nagar, Talawade.

Loss of worth Rs 20 lakhs was reported in the incident. No casualty is reported.

As per further information shared by Laxman Howale, PCMC Fire Official, at 2.16 am on Tuesday (27 th February) midnight, the fire brigade got information about fire breaking out at a godown at Sector no 254, Jyotiba Nagar, Talawade. The personnel of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Talwade sub-fire station and four other fire stations were involved in containing the fire. The fire was huge so it required 5 fire tenders to extinguish the fire completely.

There is no casualty or injury reported to any person. However, a financial loss of Rs 20 lakh happened as several things are burnt completely like plywood, electric wiring, sheds and more.

Gautam Ingawale, Sub Officer, Laxman Howale, Leading Fireman, Somnath Tukdev, Vishal Pote, Pundalik Bhutapalle, Ankush Bade, Ravindra Ahire, Laxman Bandgar & other fire officials participated in the operation.
