Fire in Shivaji Nagar commercial complex, no casualties reported
Though the fire brigade rushed to the spot immediately and extinguished the fire, only 25 per cent of the documents could be saved.

A fire broke out on the ground floor of a commercial building outside BU Bhandari’s Volkswagen showroom, next to the Pune municipal corporation building at Shivajinagar, on Thursday morning.
As per sources, important documents were destroyed in the fire.
Though the fire brigade rushed to the spot immediately and extinguished the fire, only 25 per cent of the documents could be saved. No casualties were reported in the accident.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, fire officer Pradip Khedekar said, “The fire brigade received a call at around 5 am on Thursday about fire in the basement of a commercial building in Shivaji Nagar. We rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control but few papers and documents kept in the record room situated on the ground floor caught fire and were destroyed.”
