Foundation for new public garden laid in Parge Nagar

Deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar laid foundation for a new public garden on a plot adjoining Kumar Sublime society in Parge Nagar on March 13. The project led by Nanda Lonkar, corporator, Pune Municipal Corporation is spread across an area of 20,000 square feet. The garden shall be named under the 52nd Guru Dr Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin.

Ajit Pawar in his speech while addressing the residents said, “It is important to have recreational amenities in an area where residents can unwind. Gardens like these will play an important role. I am hopeful that the work shall be completed soon and the state of the art garden is built.” Pawar also said that issues pertaining to the area can be discussed when he is in Pune at the Circuit house in presence of MLA Chetan Tupe, Commissioner Vikram Kumar and other officials and shall be sorted out.
