G-20 Summit meetings to be held at SPPU campus

Senior officials from the Centre and State govt will visit SPPU for the G 20 preparations 

Pune: As India holds the Presidency of the G20 Summit, the meetings of G-20 summit will be held in Pune as well. Of these meetings few meetings will be held at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) campus, informed Dr Karbhari Kale, Vice Chancellor of SPPU.

Sharing details about the same, Kale said, “Many meetings of the G20 Summit will be held across India. Some of the meetings are planned to be held in this university. For this, a special seminar on G20 will be organized in the month of January for eight lakh students affiliated to the university about the various initiatives under the G20 summit and its functioning.” 
Senior officials from various departments from the Centre and State government will visit SPPU for the preparations of G-20 programmes, said Kale.

Kale informed that another international seminar on Global Warming will be held at SPPU in March where four international speakers will address the audience.
