Renowned Indian sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a remarkable sand sculpture to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi 2024, which falls on Saturday, September 7. Known for his ability to commemorate significant events with art, Pattnaik designed a sculpture at Puri Beach in Odisha, conveying a heartfelt message of ‘World Peace.’
In this latest creation, Pattnaik used 20 different types of fruits to shape the image of Lord Ganesha, along with his faithful vahana (the mouse). The sculpture also features Lord Ganesha holding a placard with the message ‘World Peace’ in his trunk. This creative masterpiece highlights the urgent need for peace worldwide, resonating with the festival’s spirit of unity and goodwill.
The sand art serves as Pattnaik’s festive greeting, extending his wishes for Ganesh Chaturthi while inspiring others to reflect on the importance of peace during this auspicious occasion.
