Ganesh Visarjan in Pune: Traffic Diversions Announced on Sinhgad Road and Dhayari, Citizens Advised to Use Alternate Routes
Pune, September 5, 2025 — The Pune City Traffic Department has issued an advisory for Ganesh Visarjan processions scheduled today in the Sinhgad Road and Dhayari areas. A total of 86 Ganesh mandals will take part in the immersion processions, which will proceed via Narhe, Dhayari, Umbrya Ganpati Chowk, Ladli Chowk to Dhayari Phata.
To manage traffic and avoid inconvenience, citizens are advised to use alternate routes between 7:00 PM and midnight.
PMPL buses and four-wheelers will be diverted through the following route:
Dhayari Phata – Nanded City Gate – Dalvi Phata.
Additionally, the PMPL administration has been instructed to make special arrangements for senior citizens and children during the processions.
The Traffic Department has appealed to citizens for full cooperation to ensure smooth traffic management during the immersion festivities.
