Gas crematorium in Aundh Baner to remain shut for repair and maintenanceÂ
Pune Municipal Corporation on March 15 announced that the crematorium in Aundh Baner will remain shut in order to install a new gas crematorium. Alongwith this, installation of Air Pollution Controlling system will also be conducted. Â
The crematorium will remain shut between 16 March 2023 to 01 April 2023, for the installation and testing of the new system. During this time, the traditional cremation system will be available.Â
In addition, to ensure the convenience of the citizens, the electricity and gas and APC systems at Baner, Bopodi, and Pashan areas will continue to be available during this period.
