General Motors’ Hunger Strike in Pimpri Chinchwad Gets Immense Support; Check Details
The workers of General Motors Company have opted for chain hunger strike from 2nd October 2023 for their justice and rights and other demands, through non-violence the workers of General Motors Company who are on hunger strike.
Sanjeevan Sangale, President, Chikhali-Moshi-Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation, said “Many members of our housing association in Pimpri Chinchwad city are working in General Motors Company.
The said company has done a great injustice to all these workers by dismissing them. All these workers are starving their family members who depend on them. However, the Maharashtra government and the central government should look into this and bring justice to these workers. Otherwise, the struggle of these workers which is now going on will be intensified and our federation will be fully active in that struggle.”
As per further information shared by Sangale, General Motors workers are members of the federation living in residential societies in Pimpri Chinchwad city. Therefore, the federation have approved a resolution on behalf of the Chikhali-Moshi-Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation to support this chain of hunger strike, this struggle of the said workers.
The federation publicly supports the said chain hunger strike and if the time comes, even if the time comes to fight on the street, the federation will join the hunger strike with all members of the Chikhali-Moshi-Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation.
