Over 500 Additional Buses Planned by MSRTC from several Pune depots for Diwali ; Check details here.

Pune : During Diwali, the number of people traveling by ST buses has increased significantly. Against this backdrop, 500 additional buses have been planned by MSRTC from many bus depots of Pune such as Swargate, Shivajinagar, Khadki and more.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Kailas Patil, Deputy Manager, MSRTC Pune, said “Every year during Diwali, around Ekadashi, Dwadashi, Dhanatrayodashi & Narak Chaturdashi, bus passenger count remains very high. Frequently, people travel to places like Kolhapur, Solapur, Satara, Sangli, Nashik, Aurangabad, Marathwada, Vidarbha and more.

So, additional number of buses are deployed every year at Diwali time.”As per further information, these extra buses will be plied from November 8 to 11. Ticket booking has started for this, so passengers can book advance tickets and travel safely.Online ticket booking can be done by passengers from MSRTC website.

Also, passengers can book their tickets at bus stands or authorized booking agents appointed by the MSRTC like RedBus, Paytm, Make My Trip and more.Shreyas Vange
