The popular actor Matthew Perry, who starred in a popular TV sitcom “Friends,” was discovered dead at his Los Angeles residence on Saturday, October 29. 54 was his age.

In Perry’s home hot tub, people discovered him unconscious and were unable to bring him back to consciousness.

As per further information, the role that made Perry most famous was that of the witty Chandler Bing on the enormously successful television series “Friends,” which aired for ten seasons between 1994 and 2004.

The television series “Friends” followed six New Yorkers as they navigated adulthood, relationships, and professions. It had a sizable global audience and was a regular of NBC’s greatly lauded television lineup in the 1990s and early 2000s.

Fans soon grew to love Perry’s persona, who was the group’s most quick-witted, sardonic, but also uncomfortable and insecure member at times.

By the end of their immensely popular and zeitgeist-setting 236-episode run, Perry and his co-stars, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer, had negotiated $1 million per episode.

Perry struggled for years with alcohol and painkiller addiction during the height of his popularity, frequently visiting rehab centres.

Perry also appeared in prominent sitcoms including “Charles in Charge”, “Growing Pains” & more.
