Global Peace Summit -2021 by EduDrone – We Connect held
The Covid-19 pandemic has brought the world together emerging as the common enemy that has threatened health, security, and every aspect of life. It has reminded us that the world is one place where what happens in one part of the planet can impact people everywhere.
An endearing initiative of Global Peace Summit 2021 by EduLeaders throughout globe was conducted on 9 May 2021, through the online educational platform of “EduDrone – WE CONNECT” under the able leadership of Kajal Chhatija, Founder, EduDrone- WE CONNECT and Executive Director, Gayatri Group of Schools, Pune. The objective of the summit was to resonate the globe with Positivity, love and hope through their peace messages.
The guests of honour for the peace summit were, His Highness Prince Jagadeesh Daneti, The Royal Prince of prestigious Kalinga Dynasty, Founder | Chairman of J EMPIRE & Pink Jaguars Entertainment, Los Angles, USA (Hollywood Media & Film Production Company) and Dr. Nirmala Krishnan, Author, International Education Consultant, founder | The 20’s Art to Connect, Bangalore, along with more than 70 eminent EduLeaders from the field of education sharing their message of Global Peace to the World.
The session began with the welcome speech of dignitaries and EduLeaders by Kajal Chattija and introduction of guest of honours, followed by the speech of of His Highness Prince Jagadeesh Daneti. In his speech, His Highness firstly greeted all Happy Mother’s Day, with ‘Matru Devo Bhava’ and the significance of Mothers in everyone’s life and existence. Taking his speech further His Highness, Prince JD took a different spectrum over the pandemic situation considering it as a payback by mother nature to the human race which went on converting the mother earth into plastic and concrete jungle. He further suggested people to consider this time of lockdown to create a bond of affection, care and lovingness among each other and our neighbourhood, which was lacking earlier. This is the time to create new bonds through zoom meetings and take it ahead into physical interactions of spreading peace, hope and being caring for others.
Dr. Nirmala Krishnan started her speech by appreciating Kajal and her team for conducting such a Global Peace Summit, one of its kind for Educators to reflect their hearts for peace through the forum. She continued talking about few situations where she lost her dear ones off lately to Covid, her whole family including herself, her kids and parents have gone through the fight on Corona for 7 weeks and they decided to fight the fear of the disease from peoples’ mind by spreading hope, positivity and affection amongst all. She further stated, one solid sign of hope is human solidarity, human community with mutual care and support is bond. No one should be left to suffer alone, should be our anthem. With the help of our unsung heroes and covid warriors, we have re-established hope. No-matter how dark it is, sun rises where people like us have stood tall to brighten the light of hope. No-matter how seaminglessly small, we will show the seed of hope and positivity amongst mankind.
Among the other esteemed Educators who shared their peace messages on the occasion were Reetu Jain, Shekhar Jain, Hemant Prakash Sharma, Kriss Venugopal, Ravishankar Kumar, Chanchal Bhargava, Sarit Ghosh, Pramod Kumar Rajput, Arpita Ghosh, Vishakha Gupta, Rajkumari Agarwal, Rajiv Handa, Pranay Oswal, Rajeshwari Janakiraman, Deepa Nandecha, Sujatha Harimohan, Shirin Chandy, Jyoti Dahiya, Romall Surana, Harshwardhan Singh, Pranay Oswal, Meenakshi Devi, Farhana Almel, Bharti Sharma, Shibi Anand, Nutan Mutha, Sandhya Dewan, Vrushali Barbare, Padmavati Joshi, Humera Shaikh, Rita P Taneja, Maria Godhrawala, Simran Kaur, Deepa Jhangiani, Simran Totlani, Manikyavalli Rao, Ishita Goshal, Gaurav Tiwari, Pradnya Gokhale and Rashmi Tyagi.
Every educator expressed and represented their feelings of global peace in their own unique way either by singing, reading verses, sharing personal experiences, etc bringing togetherness among one and all. The event followed by the launch of E-magazine of the Global Peace Summit 2021 wherein every participants’ views on Global peace were penned down and presented in a creative manner for audiences on various social platforms to explore and spread the message of peace, hope and unity to fight against the global pandemic.
