9 yr old Wagholi resident sings national anthems of 100 countries fluently
Jyash Tholiya, a nine year old genius has been recently recognised for “Memorizing and Singing the Maximum National Anthems of different Countries” I.e. 100 Countries National Anthems.

At the age of 9, Jyash has sung national anthems of 100 countries from different geographical locations of the world.
For this commendable feat he has received Certificate of Achievement from Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records. He has been earlier recognized 4 times for his achievement by Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records.

He started memorising and singing National Anthems at the age of 6. He has sung anthems from Bengali to English as well as in rare languages such as Samoan and Swahili.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, his father Ashish Tholiya, an IT Professional said, “It is indeed surprising to see your child know about other countries and their national anthems. He was 5 years old when he first sang a national anthem which was played during a sports tournament aired on television. His interest grew and he on his own started knowing the national anthems of other countries, using voice commands, searched on Youtube National Anthems of different countries, listened them carefully and memorised. Later on as he was growing he started to understand the lyrics and pronunciation of those words. As of today, he very cautiously studies every anthems tune, lyrics and pronunciation before recording it. His latest recognition was received in April 20, 2021. As his parents, both me and his mother, Jyoti, an associate professor with an architecture college feel proud that he has a quest to learn new things. He has carved a niche for himself by venturing into a unique way.”
