Dozens of air travelers faced significant inconvenience late Sunday night after a flight from Goa to Pune was delayed by more than four hours.

According to one passenger traveling with family, the revised departure time of 11:45 PM was communicated only at 5:30 PM — by which time many passengers had already reached the airport.

Some travelers expressed frustration over the lack of refreshments during the extended wait. However, the airline claimed that snacks and beverages were served at the Goa terminal.
A spokesperson explained that a technical issue with the original aircraft in Pune necessitated the deployment of a backup aircraft, resulting in the delay.
The ordeal didn’t end upon landing. Passengers were reportedly asked to walk across the active tarmac to the terminal building, navigating around moving airport vehicles. This raised concerns over passenger safety and the overall handling of the situation at the Pune airport.
