Good News !!! Balasaheb Shitole Swimming Pool in Sangvi open for citizens from March 7

The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation today made an announcement that the Late Balasaheb Shitole Swimming Pool at Old Sangvi under the Sports Department of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is being opened for all citizens. 

The swimming pool will be open to all citizens from Thursday, March 7 2024. Various facilities will be provided on behalf of the Municipal Corporation at this swimming pool. It has provided online ticket booking/pass facility for all swimming pools. 

The booking facility has been made available through the official website of the Municipal Corporation https://www.pcmcindia.gov.in.   However, an appeal has been made on behalf of the Municipal Corporation that all citizens should take advantage of the swimming pool by regularly using it. 

The timings of Late Balasaheb Shitole Swimming Pool are from 6:00 am to 9:45 am and from 2:30 pm to 6:15 pm. The said summer camp facility for the swimming pool will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Furthermore, the swimming pool also has a baby tank facility for toddlers to use. Lifeguards, security officers and managers have been appointed through the organisation MESCO for the safety of the  swimming pool. 

With summer coming up, this is the best opportunity for the citizens to make the most out of it by going for swimming. 

Moreover, rules and regulations of the swimming pool should be followed by the public using the pool such as not urinating in the pool, not throwing garbage around the pool, keeping the pool neat and clean, following the timings of the pool, etc. If the rules are followed, it is easier to maintain the pool for the public.
