Pune, April 21: The long-awaited flyover on Sinhagad Road, stretching from Vitthalwadi to FunTime Theatre, is likely to be opened to the public on Sunday, April 27. Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Commissioner Dr. Rajendra Bhosale recently inspected the flyover on a two-wheeler and suggested minor repairs, which are expected to be completed within a week.

The flyover is part of PMC’s major infrastructure project, which includes the construction of three flyovers between Rajaram Bridge and FunTime Theatre at an estimated cost of ₹118 crore. The 650-meter flyover at Rajaram Bridge Chowk was inaugurated a few months ago. The newly completed Vitthalwadi–FunTime flyover spans 2,120 meters and is now awaiting official inauguration.

The third flyover, between Manikbaug and Hingne petrol pump, is about 70% complete and is expected to be ready in the next two months.
