Good News : PMPML bus service begins on Sus-Mahalunge Road and Work For Water Pipeline To Start Soon

Pune: The demands of people to start a bus service from the Sus-Mahalunge area has finally materialized as the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) has started the bus service from Nilanchal Society, which is at the very end of the Sus-Mahalunge boundary to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).

As per information by Amol Balwadkar, ex-corporator, Baner Balewadi Pashan, said that senior citizens as well as residents in the area, especially women have demanded a public transport system in the area for commuting. Taking note of this, and after discussing with the senior officials of PMPML, this bus service has been started.

It is worthy to note that due to the lack of a public transport system in the area, residents in the area were facing inconvenience. However, now this bus service will benefit senior citizens, women and students of this area to a large extent.

Also, laying of two 1800 mm long water pipelines will begin under 24 by 7 water supply scheme, which will have 20 inches diameter and 6 inches diameter distribution water pipeline will be included, informed Amol Balwadkar.  

On this occasion, ex corporator Amol Balwadkar, ex corporator Jyoti Kalamkar, ex corporator Swapnali Saikar, Sarpanch Narayan Chandere, youth leader Anil Sasar, youth leader Sharad Bhote, Abhay Tadwalkar, Sandeep Pradhan, Hari Kulkarni, Sushma Deshmukh, Vijay Deshpande, Rajendra Neve, Ravindra Vaidya, Sunil Deshmukh, Prachi Ghate, Lata Birajdar were present.
