Mahindra’s highly anticipated Thar ROXX set to redefine SUV standards with new features and design.
Thar enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as Mahindra & Mahindra prepares to launch the much-awaited 5-door version of its iconic SUV, the Thar ROXX, on August 15th. Known for its rugged charm and off-road capabilities, the new Thar ROXX promises to bring significant upgrades and features. These features make it a must-have for SUV lovers.
Mahindra, one of India’s leading manufacturers of Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs), has created a buzz with a video teaser revealing the new Thar ROXX. Initially rumored to be named Thar Armada, the official name has now been confirmed, dispelling earlier speculations.
Key Features and Specifications
Engine options include a 1.5-liter diesel, 2.0-liter diesel, and 2.2-liter diesel.
The Thar ROXX will be larger than its predecessor, featuring a new front face design and a robust five-door configuration. Exterior features include LED projector headlamps and a 360-degree camera.
A panoramic sunroof is also likely to be included.
Interior enhancements consist of a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, push button start, front and rear center armrests, enhanced seat upholstery, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a fully digital instrument console and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Safety features have been significantly upgraded, with six airbags and rear disc brakes added to the existing front disc brakes. The Thar ROXX will also come equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite.
Vijay Nakra, President of Mahindra’s Automotive Sector, expressed his enthusiasm for the new release, stating, “Thar ROXX is ‘THE’ SUV with a distinctive design, premium components, advanced technology, sophistication, and safety.”
So, mark your calendars for August 15th, when the Thar ROXX will officially debut in India. With its combination of advanced features, enhanced safety, and modern design, the Thar ROXX is set to continue Mahindra’s legacy of producing top-tier SUVs that cater to both adventure seekers and urban drivers alike.
