Goodbye Zomato, Hello Eternal Ltd: Board Gives Green Signal To Name Change
New Delhi – Food and grocery delivery giant Zomato has announced a major rebranding, with the company set to change its name to “Eternal” after securing board approval. The move, which comes more than two years after the internal adoption of the name, also includes a revamped logo and a new corporate identity.
In a letter to shareholders, Deepinder Goyal, Founder and CEO of Zomato, confirmed the development, urging investors to support the transition. “Our board has approved this change today, and I request our shareholders to also support this change. If and when it is approved, our corporate website will transition from zomato.com to eternal.com,” Goyal stated.

The company also announced that its stock ticker will be updated from ZOMATO to ETERNAL once the change is finalized. Under the new identity, Eternal will encompass four major businesses—Zomato, Blinkit, Hyperpure, and District—each playing a key role in its evolving ecosystem.
The rebranding marks a strategic shift for Zomato as it aims to expand beyond food delivery and strengthen its presence in India’s rapidly growing digital commerce sector. Shareholders and regulatory bodies will now review the proposal before it becomes official.
