Google Photos introduces image flipping feature. Here’s how it works
Google Photos has started to roll out a long-awaited feature: image flipping. This easy-to-use tool lets users quickly mirror their photos horizontally. Previously, people had to depend on third-party apps or other workarounds to achieve this effect. According to Android Authority, the new image-flipping feature is a great addition to Google Photos’ editing tools, making it simpler for users to customize and enhance their images.
To use the image flipping feature in Google Photos, just open the photo you want to edit and hit the “Edit” button. Then, look for the “Flip” option in the crop tools. Tapping that will instantly mirror your image horizontally! It’s super easy and now available for all users, which is awesome for both photographers and casual users.
Also, there’s a new feature called Ask Photos that Google introduced at their I/O 2024 conference. They’re rolling it out to select users in the US. It helps you find specific memories by understanding the context of your photo gallery, like important people or favorite hobbies. It’s available on both Android and iOS.
