Grand cycle rally held in city ahead of G20 meetings in Pune

In the month of June, two G20 working group meetings  are being held in Pune.  In the run up to these meetings Pune Municipal Corporation Bicycle Club had organized a bicycle rally today. Cyclists ride around Pune city  with the message of Ride on the cycle and save the environment along with awareness about India’s presidency of the G20 summit this year.

Additional Municipal Commissioner Vikas Dhakane  flagged off the bicycle rally. Around 2200 bicycle lovers responded enthusiastically to this activity.

The participation of children was also significant.. All participating cyclists were awarded with G-20 commemorative medals. The ride was led by Suresh Pardeshi, Chief Coordinator Pune Municipal Cycle Club; Also the women’s group was led by Neha Bhavsar. A large number of officers and employees were also present on the occasion.
