Guardian minister Chandrakant Patil wears face shield amid threat of ink assault

Pune district’s guardian minister Chandrakant Patil has received a threat message of throwing ink at him again today.

Pune’ district’s Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil was present for a meeting in Pimpri-Chinchwad today to inaugurate various programs. But with the recent threat of throwing ink at him he was seen wearing a face shield during the program. 

Former BJP corporator Harshal Dhore has filed a complaint in Sangvi police and a case has been registered against two persons. A case has been registered under section 153 for spreading hatred and under section 505 for intimidation.

A case has been registered against Vikas Lole and Dashrath Baburao Patil, president of social media of Nationalist Congress Party. A case has been registered for creating discord in the society by posting on social media platforms. The threat said “Today again ink will be thrown, Sangiv Police, Reporters get the right angle”.

Replying to the threat Guardian Minister Patil said, “It is good if someone gets pleasure from throwing ink. Everyone might be wondering if the face shields were worn out of fear? I’m not afraid. I have worn it to keep my eyes safe.”

After Minister Chandrakant’s remark over Jyotiba Phule, he was dragged into a controversy following which ink was thrown at him in Pimpri last week while he was on Pimpri-Chinchwad visit. The accused were arrested by the cops.
