The tradition of gifting saree continues as Deepti Virddi, Founder of Mireya Foundation celebrated Gudi Padwa by distributing sarees and sweets to the LGBTQIA+ community in the streets of Kondhwa and Wanwadi. While sarees have their own significance on this festival, she along with her Co-Founders Manpprit Virddi and Smriti Mody spent time with these queer communities, distributing sarees and sweets. To spread the sweetness on this auspicious day and also be blessed by the eunuchs, the importance of this noble cause is much more than it seems.

They also distributed Educational Books and Novels/Story Books to the underprivileged children marking the auspicious Ugadi and Navratri festival. The smiles on the faces of these children were priceless and the spark to learn and grow was clearly visible within these children while collecting the books.

Mireya Foundation has been focusing on educating and uplifting underprivileged children along with their aim to spread their wings for the safety and betterment of the LGBTQIA+ community as well. Mireya understands the importance of giving to the society and also making sure each one feels safe, welcomed and belonged. The ideology of improving the lives everyday of people and children at large is the ideology that these 3 co founders hold.
