Pune News : PMPML to run buses on three new routes
Pune Metropolitan Transport Corporation (PMPML) has started a new bus service from Dange Chowk to Shivajinagar/Shimla office on demand from the passengers. The bus route number 35A will operate during peak hours with a frequency of 30 minutes from March 23, 2023.
In addition to the new route, PMPML has also started two other bus routes, namely Route No. 45 from Balewadi Stadium/Mhalunge Phata (Radha Chowk) to Katraj and Route No. 355A from Radha Chowk to Chikhli. These routes were started to cater to the increasing demand from passengers.
The details of the new routes are as follows: Route No. 35A will run from Shivajinagar/Shimla office to Dange Chowk with stops at Marg Adhgaon, Jagtap Dairy, and Kalewadi. Route No. 45 will run from Balewadi Stadium/ Mhalunge Phata (Radha Chowk) to Katraj with stops at Marg Bavdhan, Chandani Chowk, Warje Bridge, and Vadgaon. Route No. 355A will run from Radha Chowk to Chikhli via Wakad, Dange Chowk, Chinchwadgaon, Yamunanagar, and Sane square.
PMPML has urged commuters, citizens, students, working class, women, and senior citizens to take advantage of the new bus services. The Chief Transport Manager (Operation) of Pune Mahanagar Transport Corporation Ltd. has made an appeal to the public to use public transport for a sustainable future.
