According to the forecast, 31 districts are likely to be affected, with 7 districts under orange alert and 24 districts under yellow alert, indicating varying intensities of rainfall and storm activity across regions.
The state has already witnessed spells of unseasonal rain in recent days, causing crop damage in parts of Pune, Kolhapur, Ahilyanagar, and Latur.
Konkan Region
Light to moderate rainfall is expected in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Sindhudurg, and Palghar. Ratnagiri remains under a yellow alert. Mumbai is expected to record maximum temperatures between 32°C and 36°C, with minimum temperatures around 24°C to 27°C.
Western Maharashtra
Districts including Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, and Solapur are under a yellow alert, with forecasts of thunderstorms and light to moderate rainfall. Pune is likely to see temperatures ranging from 18°C to 36°C.
North Maharashtra
An orange alert has been issued for Nashik, Jalgaon, and Ahilyanagar. These areas may experience wind speeds of 50–60 km/h, lightning, and moderate rainfall, with a possibility of hailstorms. Dhule and Nandurbar are under a yellow alert.
Marathwada Region
Districts such as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Beed, and Parbhani are under an orange alert, with predictions of thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds reaching 50–60 km/h. Hingoli, Latur, and Dharashiv are under a yellow alert.
Vidarbha Region
Districts including Nagpur, Amravati, Akola, Wardha, Yavatmal, Chandrapur, and Gadchiroli are under a yellow alert, with wind speeds of 30–50 km/h and chances of light to moderate rainfall with thunder.
