Pimpri, March 18, 2026: In a bid to make property tax payments more convenient for citizens, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has announced that its main office and 18 regional tax collection offices will remain open on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. The initiative comes as only 15 days remain to meet the current financial year’s property tax targets.

The offices will also be open on March 19 for Gudi Padwa and March 26 for Ram Navami, allowing residents to pay property taxes even on these festival days. Cash counters at all offices will operate from 9:45 AM to 5:45 PM. Alongside in-person payments, citizens can also pay their property taxes online through the PCMC official website.

The move aligns with PCMC’s ongoing Abhay Scheme, which offers up to a 90% waiver on late fees for those who pay pending property taxes in a lump sum. So far, over 5 lakh property owners have paid ₹806.78 crore under this scheme, with more than 17,000 taking advantage between March 1 and March 14, contributing ₹51.11 crore while receiving ₹13 crore in waivers.
