Gurunanak Jayanti celebrated
Ex Corporator Nirmalatai Kute participated in the Prabhat Feri by holding ‘Nishan Saheb’ and chanting ‘Waheguru’ along with Panj Pyare.
A Prabhat Feri was organised from Shivar Chowk to Ganesh park society, Pimple Saudagar, on account of Guru Nayak Jayanti (November 13th) by the Sindhi Punjabi community of the city.

The Prabhat Pheri started with ‘Ardhas’ (Prayer) at Shivar Chowk.In the Prabhat pheri, there was an attractive chariot and tableau decorated with flowers with photos of Guru Nanak, Bhai Mardana and Bhai Bala. On the way, masala milk, Water, frooti , samosas were distributed by societies and shops.
The procession concluded at Ganesh Park Society with langar, prasad, tea and snacks . Women, men, senior citizens and children from most of the societies in Pimple Saudagar participated in the Prabhat Feri with great enthusiasm and devotion.
