Helicopter Crashes Near Paud, Pune District; All Passengers Safe
Pune: A helicopter belonging to a Mumbai-based global company crashed near Paud in Pune district earlier today. The region has been experiencing heavy rainfall, but the exact technical reason for the accident is yet to be determined.
According to the Superintendent of Police (SP), all passengers on board are safe, and rescue operations are currently underway. The helicopter, identified as an AW 139 model, was en route from Mumbai to Vijayawada. It had a total of four people on board: the pilot and three passengers.
The helicopter was originally scheduled to travel from Juhu, Mumbai, to Hyderabad.
