Huge reduction in CNG and PNG charges in Mumbai

Pune: A comforting news has come out for Mumbaikars as Mahanagar Gas Limited has slashed CNG and PNG prices. The new rates have been implemented from midnight of October 2.

As per further information, Mahanagar Gas Limited stated that this decision has been taken to encourage the use of natural gas in domestic consumption and vehicles. Mahanagar Gas Limited had decided to reduce the CNG price by Rs 3 and the PNG price by Rs 2. Customers will get CNG and PNG at new rates from October 2 midnight.

After the new rates, Mumbaikars will get CNG at Rs 76 per kg, while PNG will be priced at Rs 47. CNG is widely used by motorists in Mumbai. While PNG is used to cook food in many places, this decision will be beneficial for many Mumbaikars.

Mahanagar Gas Limited further stated that CNG users in Mumbai are saving 50 percent on petrol and 20 percent on diesel. The prices of PNG are lower than LPG and PNG is safer and environment friendly.
